Dr. Nidhi Sharoha is a double board certified psychiatrist in Psychiatry and Consultation Liaison Psychiatry and is serving as President Elect of Nassau Suffolk branch of APA. She completed her undergraduate training at Stony Brook University followed by medical school at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has completed both a Residency in Psychiatry and Fellowship in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry at Nassau University Medical Center. She served as Chief Resident of Research and Journal Club at NUMC. Dr. Sharoha has published several case reports, and has been an avid contributor of educational presentations for clinicians throughout her career. She has held academic appointment at Stony Brook University Hospital, practicing as a consultant psychiatrist as well as the Associate Director of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship Program. During her time in Stony Brook, she was deeply involved in leadership, education, quality improvement initiatives and contributed to virtual CL psychiatry consultation during the global pandemic.  She has been deeply involved in teaching throughout her years and enjoys it very much. Personally, she enjoys tennis, pickle ball, dancing and exploring new places.
