Dr. Cesar De Paz is the current Chief Psychiatrist for the Texas market with Talkiatry. He previously held the position of Director of Behavioral Health for CommuniCare Health Centers, a multi-county FQHC in central Texas. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and did his residency training in General Psychiatry and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry also at the University of Texas Medical Branch. After his training he worked at the Center for Health Care Services in San Antonio and served as the director of the Children’s program and the Developmental Disabilities clinic. He has also worked for JSA telehealth who were in the forefront of the use of telemedicine services to reach the most underserved populations in the pre-Covid era. He specializes in treating children with the highest level of needs who have a psychiatric diagnosis and a developmental disability such as Autism. Dr. De Paz enjoys traveling and learning.
